Every NBA fan should know this debated question, "Who's the best player to play the game?" I know for most fans winning a NBA title is everything, but as the question suggests it focuses on the individual player. The team as a whole should be the argument most fans should question, but as a player there is only one answer that should be given, LeBron James. No doubt Kobe, MJ, Magic, Bird, Kareem, and (insert any other NBA Great) are legendary players but as an individual LeBron is the best the NBA has and probably will ever see for a long time. He's the total package in a complete player, his versatility is unlike any other. His ability to play all 5 positions on the court and excelling in each of those positions is the number one reason he should be considered the best player to play the game. There is no player in NBA history that can stop LeBron, his talent and freak of nature frame is just too much for anyone to handle. You may hinder his rhythm while playing, but no matter what, there is no stopping his ability to score and defend. If there was a perfect world where a 1 on 1 tournament was held to hand "The Greatest PLAYER of All Time" (Keyword: PLAYER) then I have no doubt LeBron would win it all. But since that's not possible, NBA fans can only use the "Who has more titles?" excuse. It's okay though, LeBron's quest for the title of "GOAT (Greatest of All Time)" is in his foreseeable future, his two NBA championships are a working progess and since he's just 28 years old and in his prime there is still a lot of time left to chase more rings. LeBron as an individual player should be good enough to be called the "GOAT" by the time he's done with the game, but since championships are everything, LeBron is well on his way to adding more NBA titles to his already praiseworthy résumé. It's in his genes, he's the King. Let LeBron James take the throne.
